Notable Seriels
Noor Pur Ki Rani
It’s a story of paradoxes. It is the story of two women, who on the outside appear to be very different individuals, but are bound by many similar problems. Noori was an orphan from an impoverished background, who goes through turbulent times before finding herself beginning a new life in a palace. Princess Rania, on the other hand, who is the owner of the palace, is brought by fate to circumstances she could never have imagined possible. Where Nooris innocence, struggle, optimism and dynamic personality blossoms, Ranias negativity and jealousy becomes more and more apparent, and she sets out on a rampage to destroy other people that she dislikes. While life takes Noori on many a wild adventure, Rania has a fondness for going on trysts herself. In this close-to-life serial, you will meet characters that remind you of people from your own lives and keep you glued to your sets to see how their life develops.
Saiqa
A remake of Razia Butts famous novel by the same name which had also inspired the popular Shamim Ara-Mohammad Ali movie, SAIQA is purely a love story with all the Star Plus twists, turns and manipulations. Shot on beautiful locations of Murree and Nathiagali, this love story spanning two generations, will keep viewers riveted till the end. The story focuses on Naji(Sarwat Gillani)and Tahir(Mikaal Zulfiqar). Naji is a village girl; and Tahir, a Nawabs son who falls in love with her, wants to marry her. Tahir is already engaged to Fauzia(Mahjabeen) and the family does not want him to marry Naji, but he persists, in spite of family pressure. They have a daughter, Saiqa(Juggan Kazim)who grows up in the hateful atmosphere of the haveli with everybody insulting her at every step, and plotting to get rid of her and her mother. Rehan (Ahsan Khan) adds an unexpected element to this riveting soap that keeps the viewer guessing the end right up till the climax.
Baityaan
Baityaan is the story of the tribulations and upheavals of a middle- class family comprising Ansari Sahib, his wife, Firdousi Begum, and their three daughters Samina, Amina and Rubina. Samina is very sensitive and wants to work and help her parents financially; Amina, who has a wheatish complexion, suffers from an inferiority complex, and the youngest, Rubina is weary of their meagre means and lives in a dream world. Ansari Sahib has a sister named Bilquis Begum, whose son Rehan, is interested in Rubina and wants to marry her. But Bilquis Begum is against this match, as she despises her brother’s family. Samina finds a job, but her life takes a turn for the worse after she starts working. Rubina’s life is no better because she winds up with a man who has a suspicious nature. Rehan becomes interested in Amina and takes a radical step that changes her life forever.

Ishq-Junoon-Deewangi
This story of passion that crosses all boundaries revolves around a happily married couple that finds their entire life changed with the entry of another woman on the scene. The husband, Sahil, (Humayun Saeed) is a film director and his spouse, Seep (Deepti) a writer, and the couple used to work in conjunction until the day that the wife wrote a script that proved to be her greatest undoing. She created a female protagonist, Paris, (Umaima Abbasi) so gripping that the husband loses grip on reality and his own life and finds himself completely entranced by the female lead. Things reach a head when the couple’s marriage is on the rocks because of this obsession of the husband.
